"A very agile monitoring solution"
What do you like best about checkmk? The whole Check_MK environment has a very mature, stable foundation of supported checks and performance counters. Yet it grows almost on a daily basis. Support for new systems is being implemented very often and if you are willing to request it yourself, you can have it included in the core distribution in very little time. This agility really has no match among the larger competitors.

"Fantastic experience"
What do you like best about checkmk? My favorite part of the software is the automatic discovery. This allows us to add hundreds of servers at a time without having to manage each of them separately.

What do you like best about checkmk? The automatic service discovery (agent and SNMP based) detects nearly all necessary checks for a host. The web GUI makes it easy to use and the API provides automation, but still text config files are there and no database is required. Convenient for users of all experience levels.
