Great tool for building dashboard with SQL!

What do you like best? I think its more affordable compared with Periscope Data and Tableau! Charts are decent not world best! What do you dislike? I think they can work more on integration for data sources especially on the NO-SQL side! Recommendations to others considering the product: You could give it a try. I think they will work a lot more on the success of their customers compared with Tableau! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Works and does what we need it to

What do you like best? We have an internal database that needs to be visualized from the raw dataset and Chartio does that easily with its easy interface. Most of my reps use charts that we've pre made for them as they don't have the knowledge to create charts on their own. What do you dislike? Some of the charts we create require more of an in depth knowledge of sql. Not everyone has that knowledge within all functions of the company so getting the new charts made can sometimes be a ...

Clear and simple platform

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Chartio has vastly improved over the past one year that we have been using it. The vendor seems to heed to customer feedback and do improvements as required. You can use the drag-and-drop to easily transform simple queries into live-updating graphs. For complex queries and for cases where the data is not well organized, you can use custom SQL queries across multiple tables. What aspects are problematic or could work better? There ...

Useful BI tool

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? The absence of a business layer in between is a big advantage. You can access the data source directly and infer the physical relationships. This is a great feature that makes Chartio stand out among the BI apps in the market. Plus, Chartio keep adding more data sources to their list. It is an elegant and simple system that is easy to maintain. What aspects are problematic or could work better? The user interface could be vastly ...

Flexible, powerful charting for Business Analysts and SQL experts

What do you like best? The as the technical, data savvy guy, with Chartio I am NOT the bottleneck because it is easy enough to use, intuitive and yet powerful that business users can build charts and dashboards themselves. I can focus on data management, data integration and making sure all the right data objects and attributes are accessible and my business users can be truly empowered to do their own report and chart creation What do you dislike? 1) Maps 2) Ability to join ...

Let analysts be complicated and let everyone else be simple

What do you like best? We needed a tool that could serve the needs of various Product, Engineering, and business end users, such as being easy to navigate and pull custom information per date ranges and products, etc. For me, it was important to use a tool that was easy to build out a dashboard library (I just use SQL), simple to create visuals, and allowed me the freedom to expand the depth of my analysis as needed. Chartio manages to do both--satisfy data consumers and data ...

Great app for collaboration

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Chartio stands out for its collaboration capabilities. Everyone in our company from the data scientist to management executives knows what they can do with the app and what they can’t. The features do not seem restricted, but create an intuitive and natural feeling when you view the same charts as everyone else. What aspects are problematic or could work better? Chartio has limited integrations with many popular cloud apps. This has ...

Good data visualization and tracking

What do you like best? There are many ways to visualize data, and multiple options make it easy to find the best solution. What do you dislike? Not intuitive, difficult to use at first, and support documentation is not very helpful. Recommendations to others considering the product: Doesn't have all the features we would like, but serves basic needs. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Monitoring of our data, analytics.

Helps to reduce manual work

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? The highlights of Chartio are the SQL mode and the drag and drop functionality. What aspects are problematic or could work better? We should be able to make real funnels that ensure users perform the first step and then move to the next. The current funnels only provide info on the number of users who perform each step. This is misleading and wrong. What specific problems in your company were solved by this product? We are able to ...

Robust and flexible

What do you like best? Chartio allows our company to report on real time operations for our fraud team, detailed analytics for our product and engineering teams, plus create attractive, summary reports for our C-Suite. The varying data source support and customizable pipelines allows for limitless configuration and flexibility. What do you dislike? We tend to use the SQL Mode more than Interactive Mode, and some features are definitely geared towards Interactive. What problems are ...
