I work as a web designer and enjoy using this site.There is a lot of functionality and there are free templates. I can go to this site for inspiration. I really like the design and functionality of the site. Subscribing is cheap. If you are a designer, then you need to use this site.

Recent update has ruined the free version

I've used Canva off and on for years and was reasonably pleased with the offering in the past. They seem to have updated recently and since this change, it's next to impossible to find free elements. There's clearly a large push toward the pro package however this has rendered the free version close to useless for me. I'll be starting the search for a comparable alternative.

Always trying to find ways to make you pay more

Paid for Canva pro to get better images but now nearly all the good images are a premium feature so even though you pay for pro you get nothing extra for your money.

Disreputable company, avoid
