Workflow Improved!
There are so many features that it can accommodate a variety of users. Where I use certain features, someone else on our team likes to use another. We had several issues with our previous server system, but mostly because sharing content was overly complicated. Now, with Canto, it's so easy. I often laugh at the technically barbaric method we used to use.

Good, but slow.
This asset management system was the best bang for our buck that we could find, and while it's customization is on point, the download and upload speeds are slow enough to warrant a warning to potential users.

Workflow Improved!
What do you like best? There are so many features that it can accommodate a variety of users. Where I use certain features, someone else on our team likes to use another. What do you dislike? There is a small learning curve but once you understand it becomes easy. The biggest con in my opinion is the layout of some of the features (settings, menus, etc.). Great software for organizing our digital assets
Canto allows our team to contribute photo and video to our archive across multiple locations. As a designer, it is a convenient way for me to organize and curate the best of our images. Their customer service is outstanding and has been responsive and friendly answering our questions and working with us to address any concerns.

Simple digital asset management system
What do you like best? Love the ease of use and customization. We especially love the public portal feature, where we can create collections of pre-approved content for internal and external stakeholders. What do you dislike? Wish there was an easier way to identify restricted assets when in thumbnail view. What do you like best? Canto is super easy to use and the facial recognition is really slick. I also like the external portals for outside contributors. We don't use half the features available but I can see how they could be super useful for those that could use them. What do you dislike? Its a good DAM system for media management
What do you like best? We like that the system is relatively easy to use. We like that we can segment media and have it all searchable by keywords/tags. It's also a great value compared to the competition. What do you dislike? Support could be much better, they have dropped the ball on a major issue I had and put it back on me to "Create a video" which I have no time for. They need to dive in more and figure out the bugs. Dynamic DAM platform
What do you like best? Canto is very flexible and adaptable platform that has really streamlined our workflows and made our materials accessible to our statewide staff across three different offices. It's also made it a much simpler process to search and find good visual assets for various needs, and to share out photo and video documentation with back to artists we work with easily. Perfect for growing nonprofits
We are a growing nonprofit with an ever expanding collection of assets. We use Canto across three branches and multiple users with wide ranging tech abilities. It was easy to implement, took little training for end users, and Canto is always improving their service.
