"Easy to use, predicable, stable, and a great value"
What do you like best about Camtasia? After a bit of training - which Camtasia provides - you're ready to go! What do you dislike about Camtasia? I'm not using the current 'revamped' version so I can't speak to that update. It is a little clunky to close caption but once you get started it moves along quickly. Recommendations to others considering Camtasia: Great product, there will always be a learning curve, but this product is robust enough to put together excellent products. What ...

"Great presentation tool"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Very easy to use. Probably my favorite feature is the sound editing. Very easy to use call-outs. What do you dislike about Camtasia? Does hang my desktop system frequently. Resizing of images would be helpful. What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you? I use it every time I make a video...even if all I need is to tweak the sound.

"Great for editing and adjusting videos"
What do you like best about Camtasia? I like camtasia's editing features... frame by frame - you can magnify the recordings to take out anything (I.e. A repeated word, an infliction, a bad word, etc). You can take it out in chucks too and then piece it or replace it with other recordings. What do you dislike about Camtasia? Disliked the way it was unpredictable when saving for quality (for an intermediate user) it really did not have an output that would provide MOST users a quality end ...

With some minimal clicking around it's pretty easy to learn the software. What do you dislike about Camtasia? It can be a bit difficult to get things such as text, arrows, transitions, etc. to look exactly how you want. What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you? We edit recorded webinars and create marketing and training ...

"Tip of the iceberg for online professor"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Ability to share desktop as part of filming a lecture, allowing me to use multi-media. What do you dislike about Camtasia? When I have had trouble with syncing, it is very challenging to make more than the simplest of edits so that the soundtrack and the videotrack align correctly. I don't know if that was a problem with my desktop, so I don't blame camtasia for the trouble with syncing. Trying to educate myself on the editing techniques is time ...

What do you like best about Camtasia? The timeline, transitions, zooming, etc, as well as publishing options enables you to make professional content fast. What do you dislike about Camtasia? A little cumbersome getting the size correct, but I somehow manage. Recommendations to others considering Camtasia: Buy it. You can't go wrong. Also, TechSmith is a great company to work with. What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you? Camtasia gives me the ability to create ...

What do you like best about Camtasia? Camtasia is easy to use and connects well with PowerPoint for producing slide lectures. The files were easy to post on the online instruction platform. What do you dislike about Camtasia? Volume controls were sometimes complicated, but that was mostly a PowerPoint issue. What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you? Providing lectures in my own voice for students in online classes

"A sophisticated tool that anybody can use"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Camtasia has a "for everybody" approach to it's design and support. It's not just for elitists, although it suits them, too. The user interface has been given a lot of thought and recently redesigned. Usually this means making it more complicated or removing features. In this case, it means less complicated and more features...which is hard to do. What do you dislike about Camtasia? Sometimes I have trouble finding a particular function, but it's always ...

"Simple Screen Capture"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Camtasia allows for quick and easy capturing of content. I rarely use it for editing any more (prefer Adobe Premiere), but if you're new to video editing or just want simple tools, this is the way to go. What do you dislike about Camtasia? Nothing to really dislike about the program. I personally would prefer more advanced editing tools, but I figure that most users of the software will find that they are ample. Recommendations to others considering ...
