"On the older version (Studio 8), but still a great product!"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Really easy to record videos and then edit as needed for training videos. I'm on the older version from a few years ago, but it is still a great product. What do you dislike about Camtasia? Can take quite a bit of time (several minutes) to render videos. This might be an issue with my computer though. Sometimes, the mike has an issue related to Camtasia and I have to restart to get the mike working again. Recommendations to others considering ...

"Video e-learning content based on Scorm"
What do you like best about Camtasia? The Camtasia has perfect support of Scorm 1.2. I have published my Excel 2013 and Word 2013 video file to the Moodle (TotaraLMS) e-learning System. The scorm completion information pass to the LMS perfectly. I see the video stream and sorm the ativity has been completed at 95%. The Publishing is based on html5. Correct. What do you dislike about Camtasia? The product is missing TTS (Text to speech) and automated closed captioning like youtube video ...

"Screencasting Made Easy"
What do you like best about Camtasia? There are two things I absolutely love about Camtasia, the first is that it's easy. Everything is labeled well, and it's not overly complicated like many other video editing software. Granted, this is simpler largely because it is really more of a Screencasting Program than a proper video editing suite. That said, it can do everything you need it to (as long as you're keeping it simple). The second thing I enjoy is that it is fairly stable. I've used ...

"Easy to Use & Effective"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Camtasia is easy to start using, pretty intuitive and a great tool for creating training videos. The timeline view of the video is awesome and creating professional looking videos is simple. There are several objects and tools within the application that you can use to direct attention to specific points of the video as well as zoom in and out. Sound manipulation and tailoring that is pretty cool. The software actually guides you in building your video. ...

"Fast and powerful"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Camtasia is fast, powerful and intuitive. As an occasional user I find it very easy to use. What do you dislike about Camtasia? The feature set is somewhat limited but that is also a big reason why it is easy to use. What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you? It allows me to create videos very quickly. It has more functionality that just creating a movie from Powerpoint. If I need a highly produced video I prototype it in Camtasia ...

Wish you could edit the sound tracks better. Recommendations to others considering Camtasia: Bundled with Snagit, this will meet all your screen capture and video needs. What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you? Producing video vignettes to support training rollouts.

"Excellent product"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Very interactive and allows for almost unlimited video creation. What do you dislike about Camtasia? The product consumes a fairly large amount of computer space but it's robust so that's expected. Recommendations to others considering Camtasia: The resources are essential for being able to navigate the various features but there are a lot of resources on YouTube and the internet. What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting ...

"The best I've found for quick video production."
What do you like best about Camtasia? Video production is not part of my job, but you don't have to be an all-star to get a lot of value from Camtasia. If you are the type to pick up software easily, you're going to love this intuitive app. It's not hard to pull together something more engaging than PowerPoint without taking much more time to do it. What do you dislike about Camtasia? Sometimes I feel that Camtasia doesn't understand (or at least does not cater to) my "grab-and-go" use ...

"Easy to Use. Easy to Impress."
What do you like best about Camtasia? Camtasia is a fairly easy software to get the hang of that allows you to quickly edit and produce videos. The built in transitions, easy-to-manage timeline, and audio editing features make Camtasia a go to for me for quick projects. You can easily import media (audio, video, images, etc.) and drag and drop them on to your timeline when needed. TechSmith does a nice job of regularly updating the software (bug fixes, interface updates) and pushing it out ...
