"Camtasia is one of the easier video platforms I've used"

What do you like best about Camtasia? Camtasia allows you to manipulate sound to get rid of background noises and also is very easy to use (with a short tutorial). There are also a wealth of how-to's available with the product so that you can get the hang of what you're doing. I created a pretty professional video in a few hours with just an iphone and my laptop and a pair of headphones. Not bad! What do you dislike about Camtasia? It sometimes takes a really long time to render...and it is ...

"My favorite video editor"

What do you like best about Camtasia? It's fairly easy to learn, but produces professional quality results. What do you dislike about Camtasia? Versions are sometimes quite different and not compatible. Recommendations to others considering Camtasia: It is much easier to use than Premier Pro. It is great for doing closed captioning and cutting bloopers out of video recordings. You can also easily add additional tracks for title slides, music, audio, fade in/out, etc. What problems is ...

"Difficult upload but user friendly"

What do you like best about Camtasia? I used Camtasia when I was teaching online/hybrid classes and my face time with students was limited. What I would do is walk them through assignments and sometimes my grading of their individual papers to help convey my vocal tone when I was giving them feedback. The system is easy to use to actually record, though I struggled with the editing a bit. Sometimes I just wanted it to capture my screen while I was editing and my voice and that took me a bit ...

"Wonderful Program for Creating and Editing Videos"

What do you like best about Camtasia? I like that when it comes to both working with/designing/editing videos, Camtasia literally has everything that I could possibly need. From being able to record sound for a video right from Camtasia to add sound to a video to being able to import previously recorded videos to edit, I rely on Camtasia for all my video editing and developing needs. I like that I can easily and seemlessly combine multiple video clips to make a single video with smooth ...

"Easy to Use, Effective Software"

What do you like best about Camtasia? The program is mostly intuitive. I started using it over a year ago with no experience with the software and was able to pick it up pretty quickly. What do you dislike about Camtasia? I wish the hyperlink function worked better. What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you? Camtasia helps me create tutorials for an online software called Bay-Delta Live. It helps fill the gaps of user knowledge.

"The do it all tutorial maker"

What do you like best about Camtasia? What ISN'T there to like? It has it all, built in hotkeys for recording and editing, built in subtitles, call outs of every shape and size, uploading to youtube. The learning curve on this isn't steep, and it takes minimal time to make a video that can record the screen, your voice, sounds on the screen, and your camera if you wish. precision is easy with the ability to go frame by frame, and the ability to use your own callouts? The possibilities are ...

"Fun and easy to use"

What do you like best about Camtasia? It is user-friendly, as someone who did not have a lot of experience with recording before it was easy to learn how to use and I haven't run into many problems with it. What do you dislike about Camtasia? It took a bit of getting used to the different file formats and which one to use at which time but once I sorted that out it wasn't a problem anymore. What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you? We are able to create internal ...

"Great Tool for Recording Lectures"

What do you like best about Camtasia? Camtasia is great. I love that it's easy to use and that the editing portion of the software can be used by pretty much anyone - you don't need training to figure it out. They also have some nice tutorials. What do you dislike about Camtasia? Nothing really. I've been able to do everything I wanted with the software. Depending on your computer, rending the final file can take some time. Recommendations to others considering Camtasia: Definitely give it ...
