"Camtasia is really cool."
What do you like best about Camtasia? I am very pleased that my manager requested I get Camtasia and start using it. It has been a slow go to get started but that is just my learning style. I have taken a couple trainings, but plan to take some more. I appreciate these being readily accessable to me and the frequency they are offered. It is very cool the number of options/functions that the program has. What do you dislike about Camtasia? When you first get started, I find the editing very ...

"Camtasia is a key part of my marketing and technical education business."
What do you like best about Camtasia? The ability to store video and audio files and edit the audio with the video right in the application. Also, the integration with Powerpoint is key. I also like the education and classes the Techsmith offers. What do you dislike about Camtasia? The downside is the old way that Camtasia is purchased. I would rather see a subscription model and not have this constant upgrading and cost each year. It influences me to stay with the older product. What ...

"Very simple to learn Video editor / screen capture"
What do you like best about Camtasia? I had used multiple different video editors (unprofessionally) in the past. When being trained in my position what my current company uses was Camtasia. It was extremely easy to adapt and understand right away. We have been using for 5-6 years now. In the past I had issues with some video formats, masking videos was always a challenge but with the latest updates most of all concerns have been fixed and everything works great. Also love the youtube ...

"Easy to use, little experience necessary"
What do you like best about Camtasia? What I really love about Camtasia is the simultaneous video capture and screen-recorder feature which makes for excellent and seemless videos especially demos and less editing work. The software is easy to use and while there are numerous advanced features yet untouched it is simple enough for a relative novice users like me. What do you dislike about Camtasia? The price point was pretty high and I bought it on a whim but I am glad I did. A longer trial ...

"A powerful tool for capturing and editing screen recordings"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Camtasia looks like your usual video editor, but once you get into the screen recording features and effects, you'll see that the library is quite large and easy to drag effects into your media. It's highly customizable and I like the Smart Focus feature to easily pan and zoom. What do you dislike about Camtasia? The libraries of effects and media are difficult to navigate through. There is no search option so if you don't know what you're looking for, ...
