It's really a great experience with Busuu, how the way of learning is planned for the learners. It motivated me to keep moving forward with my daily schedule.

Logical progression for beginners

It's great as an introduction for beginners to have an interest in learning the language. For something that's 10 min a day, the content has a very logical organization. You're not asking people if you're a cat, or wondering if you yourself are a cat (looking at you, Duolingo); it feels like if you learn the phrases and vocabulary, you can actually use them to start somewhere. The community feels interactive enough; it's not a substitute for really immersing yourself in the language, but ...

So glad I upgraded as the extra support and practice is brilliant. Got 60% off. Probably wouldn’t have upgraded without that.

I am completely new to Spanish

I am completely new to Spanish. I live in a part of Canada that has a very small Spanish population. I’ve been using other apps for the last month but Busuu is the only app that has instilled some comprehension and is helping to start forming sentences.

Busuu used to be very good....

Busuu used to be very good, and basically the lessons still are, but the experience is ruined for me by constant adverts, emails twice a day, pushing you to join Premium, problems getting back to where I was and in the 'review' section, losing all the words (350 of them) I had learnt. I paid a big sum up front, but considered it value for money. Not any more!
