It took a couple of weeks but I finally get premium content--update

I was charged twice for busuu premium content by accident. I stopped payment on one of the charges and after that, could no longer access premium content. The support staff was polite and they did return my help message but 2 weeks had passed since I purchased premium content and it still was not available to me. After I wrote a review on trustpilot about the incident, the support staff quickly contacted me and resolved the issue. I can now access premium content.

Very customer & user friendly language learning website. Comfortable

I have just recently joined this website (busuu.com) and so far I'm enjoying my time of studying a new language. It is designed in such way that studying is very entertaining and easy to handle. Obviously, the support team make efforts to maintain the website in a very user-friendly manner, they care about customer opinion and suggestions to improve the services offered. I hope they will make available the Arabic course in a mobile applications as well, because it is not comfortable every ...

Japanese lessons need some work.

Sometimes the romaji doesn't match the Japanese characters. Answer choices are sometimes too obvious (like having 2 multiple choice options being one word, and a 3rd option being a whole sentence as answers for a sentence translation; or another time 2 multiple choice options were exactly the same, so the answer was obviously the third). I've seen names reversed in the English translation. These things were all in the first level, so it seems like these issues might be pretty frequent. It's ...

making progress

I've only been using Busuu for a week or so to learn Japanese, and I feel I'm progressing quite well. I do find I have to use a couple of other programmes alongside it, in order to learn the alphabet and symbols as there doesn't seem to be any instruction for those within Busuu. I would also like a little more introduction to sentence structure as although I'm learning words and sentences, I'm not sure i could put a sentence together correctly myself. I would recommend the programme as part ...

Wonderful concept; Young implementation

I have tried quite a few language learning sites, and by far, Busuu has been the most engaging, clear, and well-balanced. The exercises are well-thought and paced, the social features integrate into the experience cleverly as opposed to being appended as an afterthought, and the reward feature keeps a level of "stickiness" to the site. I don't know exactly how long this site has been around, but here would be a few of my critiques/suggestions: - For languages that use symbolic characters ...
