Very good website to learn or to improve languages

I think that busuu may likely be the nicest or best language website, which includes the social aspect and functionality, currently available online.

I would like a better, more complete, more powerful and thorough way to search for user submissions to correct. This would include the ability to search for only written or only audio submissions, including the ability to search for all submissions in any given language, such as submissions for those learning and doing exercises in English, for example, and which would or could include submissions of people you haven't met yet or haven't yet requested or accepted requests as busuu friends.

why i don't log onto busuu anymore

I had been an extremely active user of busuu for 1 and half years, starting in Spring 2011. Busuu platform changed a few times since then each time the experience was less valuable to me, to the point where i now rarely go to the site. The last big revision really was truly the worst. Overall I find Busuu a really useful, and importantly, a very affordable, resource. The structure of the learning activities is not bad, it is brilliant that you can learn multiple languages and the possibility of getting corrections from native or advanced speakers is worth its weight in gold. Great tool yet there's always room for improvement

I really like learning with busuu and I usually recommend it to friends and students. However, I've noticed the free version is not as interesting as it used to be. It doesn't really allow new users to have a good learning experience.
