Busuu Reviews in October 2026: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

Busuu is a great coach.

I love the resources Busuu offers me to train myself to learn a new language especially the Busuu-talk application that permits me to find speakers of the language that I am learning to chat online with and review and correct the exercises that I have completed.

Great language tool

I like using busuu. It can be a fun thing to do in your in-between time. So, instead of going on Facebook or Twitter to waist your time while you wait, why not go on busuu instead and learn another language? Plus it starts out very easy from matching pictures to words/ phrases and matching these to pictures.

Outstanding customer service

Big thank you to Amy at the Busuu London office, she provided me with excellent customer service and went the extra mile to help me out of a difficult situation. Always a pleasure to deal with such people as Amy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Busuu as a trustworthy company with a lot of integrity.

Good quality with room for improvement

I enjoy studying a new language with busuu and find the system easy to use and effective. Unfortunately, I have noticed several mistakes in the language I'm learning (Arabic), so now I often doubt if what I learn is truly correct. There are two suggestions I'd like to make: 1. Please check the written entries in Arabic. When I learn vocabulary with the quiz function, the solution is written out so I have to close my eyes to think of the right answer. Too much helping otherscis distracting

I reaaly enjoy the course a lot and I don't mind at all to help others with their English, though I am not a native speaker.. Dutch is my first language. But sometimes it is a bit too much.

Almost Perfect!

The content is great. I'm learning a lot. My only reservations are with somethings that not always works and you do not have a report button or something like to tell them that something is not working well.

Great project

I used to learn English on different Web sites, like Lingvo Leo and Puzzle English, but I find Busuu the most useful. It is good that levels and themes are separated, so if you see some interesting themes on other levels you can learn only them. I also like that there are business and travel parts. Nevertheless the business part needs to be a little bit improved, because voices sound quite slowly. Lots of widely spoken languages to choose - overall good!

I like that it is done in small chunks bit by bit and there is a conversation to test your understanding at the end. I think it has all that it needs though I do not use the chat much; I can see how it is helpful to speak to someone that is more fluent than yourself or lives in a country where the language is spoken - it speeds up your learning of the language.
