Busuu Reviews in October 2026: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

Busuu does not run reliably in Safari on the Mac platform. I switched to using Chrome (for Mac) but some bugs still remain. For instance voice recordings are sent but I never receive a reply or correction from other members. When progressing with a task, the program sometimes skips a step and one has to start the chapter again to fill in the missing parts. The grammar advice is often too simplistic. Good structure and balance, slight bugginess

I am studying French and German. I have a little German already, but am using to brush up. I have found the lessons easy to follow, with decent repetition. Having access to online native German speakers who corrected my work enthusiastically was really addictive and rewarding. I paid for the Premium course which was c.£50 for 1 year. I really recommend using this as it gives you access to great premium ...
