Good... but not for all languages
I'm french and I'm learning spanish, german, japanese and arabic. The lessons are great for languages that use latin script. The progression through each lesson is nice. I recommend using premium because I find the tests at the end of each lessons are really useful and I don't think you could learn a language without learning some grammar. However there are some errors in the exercises : the sound doesn't correspond to the sentence displayed, sometimes the words aren't properly ...

Well worth it
I knew no Spanish before we started our travels. We're now in Colombia, and i've been able to order food and do the basics after using busuu. The travel course was perfect for what I needed to start with, and now i'm starting to learn more of the grammar side of it. It's very handy being able to download the lessons and learn offline, it makes taxi trips that much quicker! I would love to see more conversational learning throughout the beginner sections however, this is where I learn the most.

Arabic: Reasonable techniques with careless implementation.
1. Too long sentences in the very beginning parts. 2. Carelessly built sentences with their unproperly sequenced words in the fill in the blanks. 3. Dark blue background making difficult to perceive the writing on it. 4. Some sentences are written from left to right as if they were written in Latin form. 5. All above these, no teching the alphabet prior to commencing the lessons.

It's Ok for the languages training
The app is Ok! But the video lessons don't run pretty well!
