Busuu is a very good option to learn languages. You can do grammar, vocabulary or speaking exercices. You have also access to lessons which allows me to better understand and progress more effectively.

Overall good but lack of explanations in lessons later on
I was very happy when I first used Busuu to learn Japanese with explanations and reminders provided in early lessons. However, I would like to point out some problems which make it not easy to follow in lessons later on... 1.) Maybe not for dunce to fluency, but great for intro and confirmation!
I've been trying to learn Spanish for quite a few years, taking community classes, online courses, Duolingo, etc. I really LOVE Busuu primarily for the opportunity go through the lessons AGAIN and reiterate what I've learn, but especially for the opportunity to write (or SPEAK) my exercises to be corrected by Spanish-speaking learners. And multiple users can respond to the same exercise (so beware - you can have different corrections!) Personally, I do not think you can LEARN how to speak ...

Overall I am happy with the Busuu…
Overall I am happy with the Busuu platform (I have tried another one before). The Modul on Repetition of vocabulary is sometimes a bit boring. There is one real mistake in the french section: When you write the french condensated oe like in „la soeur“ or „l‘ oeil“ Iris always Rates wrong. The contact top the help Desk is not easily established..
