I enjoy the app

I enjoy the app, it's nicely done!

Arabic is not up to standard

I got busuu mainly for Arabic. Arabic needs a lot of work to bring it up to the standard of the other languages. Here are some of the issues I have encountered:- 1. Missing/wrong voice clips - some say something completely different to what's written. 2. Dialogue not arranged well - when you're filling in the blanks the sentence is jumbled up. 3. Practice is a serious issue as it only takes Arabic words which are not compatible with some Android keyboards. 4. No explanations given like in ...

An excellent language learning app for the more serious learners.

if one is learning a new language

if one is learning a new language. then one needs to know every new word... and to be able to repeat the pronunciation. your website appears not to allow a student to return to an earlier page. AND there are some unexplained words.

This review reflects the Turkish language element only. I haven’t yet found the Busuu product any better, or worse, than similar products on the market. It does have good content and some good elements to help with memorising vocabulary and using the vocab learnt. I also really like the community aspects. However, I feel that whilst the encouragement to use the language learnt at the end of each lesson is good, to amount of vocabulary and grammar hasn’t necessarily been taught, or learnt, ...

Good so far

Good so far, after five days. I like the well planned lessons, the nice, interactive interface, the variety of exercises, and especially the interaction with native speakers.
