Busuu Reviews in October 2026: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

Busuu is a very useful app and it has helped me improve certain parts of my Italian. I have only had it since yesterday but I have been using it frequently, my only issue with it is that whenever I answer something wrong the words automatically go to “weak words” I then practise them many times after but the words still stay in “weak words” and although I have fluently learned many words and phrases so far, it still says that I only have five strong words.

This site has been generally great so far, but I do have a couple of nitpicks with it. I'll list them in bullet points below: - The site has a lot of empty, white space. Because of that it can be quite straining on the eyes. I think a dark theme would do Busuu a great service without tarnishing the professional look. - I find that when going into the review section and testing my recall of the already studied material it doesn't vary the vocabulary enough. Hello Team, Firstly, I am very proud of having a chance to use Busuu for learning Deutsch. There is a list of improvements I wish you could implement: 1) Try to use swipes and gesture at mobile as much as possible. E.g - when you are user you don't want to do additional Continue click on learning new words. Swipe should work at the best 2) Sometime there is unexpected behavior if you click some text below the new word. The text starts speaking two times slowly. This is good approach for ...
