Busuu is good
Busuu teaches sentence structure, spelling and uses realistic dialogues as teaching tools. starting with basics such as hello, how are you, what is your name, where are you from, ect. and builds up to being able to navigate a foreign language effectively after 6 months to a year.

You can't lose by trying Busuu!
Busuu was the first of several online language study websites that I have used to study German and Russian. It's excellent--and the price can't be beat. (It's free.) I have made several international friends with it in addition to studying German and Russian easily and pleasantly. By all means, try it!
