I tried a few apps and eventually I paid for a premium plus account on Busuu. Easy to use and start from entry-level which is perfect for an absolute beginner. And I use Busuu every day.

Very straight forward

Very straight forward, very detailed and not to boring. Every class is engaging and if you work a bit a day you will learn a lot more than you think.

BUSUU NON E' AFFIDABILE - BUSUU IS NOT RELIABLE

Busuu non è affidabile. Lo scorso anno ho fatto con Busuu un abbonamento per un anno per la lingua inglese. Alla scadenza dell'abbonamento, con mia grande meraviglia, mi sono visto addebitare la somma di € 69,99 per un altro anno di abbonamento senza nessuna autorizzazione da parte mia e senza nessuna notifica preventiva e nessuna comunicazione del costo. Alla mia mail di protesta hanno risposto che loro praticano il rinnovo automatico e che la disdetta vale solo dal prossimo rinnovo. Penso ...

Hi, Overall Android application is pretty good. But I'd like to point out the following: 1. Keyboard predictions have to be turned off for all exercises. 2. Some expressions in Russian can be translated in English by several variations. It would be good to make system identify such cases. 3. Sometimes voice recognition makes me mad :) Thanks, Boris.

Great alternative to start a new language!

I think Busuu is a great platform to learn languages at a reasonable price from lower to intermediate levels. Both, Android app and website interface are user-friendly. I prefer to access on the PC. The only negative point I found is an issue with the follow-up lessons and some difference between the progress on the App and the web access.
