Excellent Interface - it's concise and clear, with enough repetition to reinforce prior lessons.

Good service, could be improved

It's a good service. I really like the social aspect of it where native speakers can comment on your exercises and give you pointers about pronounciation, grammar etc. I also like the progression system which gives you an idea about where you are at your learning process. The only thing missing from it is a proper grammar section I think. It would be a lot better and a lot more helpful if there was a specific page in the learning area where it explains you which words to use for ...

BORING

BORING AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY TO HAVE PREMIIUM SUBSCRIPTION plus there is an additional fee for one-on-one with native speakers.

Thieves

I used the app for two months and then I totally forgot about it. After a year with no notice, I get billed for the premium account which I never asked for. When I demanded my money back they told me that it's in the contract that once you use the app it automatically upgrades you.

Busuu to me is second-to-none

Busuu to me is second-to-none. It may not have the widest variety of languages but sure it has the best quality of teaching so far among loads of other applications from personal experience; such as rosetta stone, memrise, mondly, duoling and few others. Their customer support was very responsive and helpful everytime I contacted them. A quick anecdote: when I was learning Russian (Русский) on duolingo, I was lost as it started with words directly without teaching the Cyrillic alphabet, ...
