Busuu Reviews in October 2026: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

I was using Pimsleur before and I accidentally learned about Busuu. If not for Busuu I would be using Pimsleur (it's still a great great way to learn) but for I was drawn by 1. The price (so cheap) 2. You learn to read, write, talk and listen in whatever language you're learning and 3. If you buy the premium version (which again is so cheap) you get to interact, help and get helped by other people (natives or not), this was probably the main point for me to use Busuu.

I highly recommend Busuu!

I swear this website deserves a much higher rating. Learning languages on Busuu is a lot of fun. Buying premium and studying almost everyday has made it possible for me to understand Spanish better. My goal is to speak, read and write that language fluently and learn more languages after that one. Busuu will definitly help make that happen! Thank you all!

Amazing app

I've been enjoying this app and I'm doing a nice progress in my English journey Thank you for this awesome app.

The application is workmanlike

The application is workmanlike, but there is an inconvenience. It doesn't update when you finish your courses. So you don't update with new lessons.

Bussu were very helpful.

Bussu were very helpful. Thanx a lot!

Worth it but it could be even better

The Premium version has some cool features, however I felt a little bit disappointed when I tried to create another study plan for another language and it was not possible. I think it's necessary to have as many study plans we want. I would like to have more Speaking / Listening exercises. (I just have been doing the A1 level, so I'm not sure if in the next levels the speaking and listening skills are better structured)
