To be really honest
To be really honest, the platform was less effective rather than I expected. I mean the exercises are nice and well organized, but I've not found a way to improve my speaking skills. I had the possibility to book an individual lesson with a teacher, but i had the sensation he did not listen me properly by paying attention to my words. Automatic renewal - no warning
I did not like at all that Busuu don't warn about the automatic yearly renewal, for example with an email some days in advance, to give the chance to opt out. This may not be illegal as per their Terms&Conditions, and I may have renewed anyway; but this is not good for my trust in Busuu. It shows a bad business attitude and I hope they change it soon enough before more people are disappointed. Quick, clear lessons full of variety.
The lessons are quick and clear. The variety of exercises helps you to master words, phrases, and grammar points in recognition.pronunciation, and in written form.
