First day with busuu.

I joined without problems, then had a problem with signing in which I received help to resolve. Completed an assessment and my first lessons satisfactorily. Wanted to download the busuu app on my Amazon Fire tablet which has not unfortunately happened.

Great Italian lesson with competent teacher, helped me a lot. I will definitely do this again. Just had some technical issues during the lesson at first, which resolved.

Very good app for language learning which is updated frequently. The content is useful for everyday situations and the lessons are well constructed to help you improve. Should you have a problem the customer service is reliable, polite and helpful. The best language learning app.

Do not subscribe

Auto renewal is poor without any pre warning or reminder you take the full balance. For the confirmation to go to the junk emails but every other notification to come to the inbox. Very desperate and unethical way of doing business and taking money. To then find that it’s so difficult to unsubscribe. I will not recommend this app for this reason and by reading on social media I’m not on my own with this terrible experience. It’s put me off the brand and using the app all together. Busuu ...

I have a problem with payment

I have a problem with payment. No one would help me with this.

Deceptive renewal practices

They have deceptive practices regarding renewal of the service. I tried to cancel the service days in advance, but was unable to. I contacted them after I noticed a charge on my bank statement, the day the charge went through no less. They told me it is their policy to not give refunds if the subscription has been renewed. This is completely unreasonable. I recommend that you avoid this company in the future. Edit: I was able to get a refund from them after I challenged the charge through ...
