Busuu's vocabulary level is ridiculously small.

After finishing the final level of Busuu German (level B2), my reading comprehension was extremely poor and my listening comprehension was worse. The reason for that is, the system informed me that I had learned 817 words in total by the end. I found out later that the bare minimum vocabulary for the CEFR B2 level was about 5000 words, although the estimates can range as high as 7000-10000 words. Love this program

I didn’t think I would like this type of language learning but I’ve learned more Spanish in the last few weeks that I can actually use in conversation than I did using one year of Rosetta Stone. I love the assessment at the beginning of the program to put you where you need in stead of assuming you’re at super beginner level It has a great balance of verb conjugation and vocabulary. The app is good overall

The app is good overall, but I would like to have an option of going back to the previous practice in a lesson, especially for conversation or reading practice.

extremely unhappy

I unsubscribed and have been charged again for an involuntary renewal. I have finished the course I subscribed for, so I can´t use the renewal for anything. I sent an email asking for a refund and they haven´t even answered my email. If at least there was enought material for me to use the 80€ charge. I am very unhappy with Busuu.

Steer well clear this is the worst language app that I have ever used Duolingo Babbel and Rosetta Stone are far better
