Busuu stands out in a crowded field

I'm studying Spanish so I can take a CLEP examination to get credit for some general education classes and graduate sooner. I chose Busuu over its many competitors after using free trials for a bunch of different language learning apps and sites. Ich würde mir von Busuu mehr Konsistenz zwischen der Desktop- und Handyvariante wünschen. Bei Desktop fehlen die Grammatikübungen ganz, die aber auch in der Handyversion nicht dem Kernfortschritt entsprechen.Vermutlich methodenbedingt kommt die Förderung der Sprechkompetenz etwas kurz. Correct orthography: Spanish accent on words

At the moment I still don’t understand how to set my iPhone and iPad to reflect the Spanish way to write with vocal with accent. Sometime I found too much repetitive exercises and in my opinion more writing is necessary to get confidence with the language

Better than many other language apps

I have been using a few different language learning apps. By comparison, Busuu is more user-friendly and nimble. You can actually choose the grammar and concepts to work on. The app interface is logical and easy to navigate. Improvements could include more exercises to reinforce concepts, and longer reading/listening passages.

Busuu es la mejor app que he encontrado como aficionado al estudio de los idiomas. Estoy muy satisfecho con la experiencia. BUSSU - Learn a language with fun and support.

I have used a variety of learning programmes to help me with Spanish. I have found BUSSUU to be the best. It is really inexpensive for the amount of learning opportunities I get. There are structured lessons which start right from the beginning, and I often go back and repeat lessons when I need to. Super useful for grammar; needs more languages

Super useful, particularly for explaining grammar points. Unfortunately limited by number of languages. The ones they do have are popular and well fleshed out with multiple options for business, travel or alphabet-specific courses. Would be much more helpful though if there were options for grammatically difficult/different to English and less-common languages such as Irish. My journey with Busuu in learning Italian

My Busuu experience in learning Italian has been extremely positive. The Busuu program allows you to build your learning schedule according to your particular needs and gives you just the right amount of new material per lesson, at the same time as it allows you to review older material to the extend that you want. Lessons are clear, concise, and learning friendly. I would (and have!) highly recommend the Busuu language learning program. Great value for money as well!
