Great app for learning on the go.

It’s a great app to do some learning whilst on the go. Grammar is explained and you get a chance to answer questions (voice recording or writing) and get feedback on how you’re doing from native speakers via the community. That’s a feature I haven’t seen anywhere else. I’m doing Japanese and it’d be great if you were given the option to turn romaji off when learning new words as it’s hard not to read that first and it slows down the learning of hiragana, katakana and kanji.

Turkish and Dutch review

I recently deleted my Turkish progress because I felt the Turkish course is a bit lackluster (especially in B1-B2 chapters): it has a very clear pattern that becomes predictable: learn about 4-5 words (with the optional sample sentences below), listen to a dialogue and put in the missing words and then review the 4-5 words you just learned. Great app just so far then it seems to jump ahead so that it leaves you behind, not understanding half the vocab. I have subscribed for three years but have now cancelled.
