The training is excellent. They use a variety of methods to help teach and memorize words and phrases. I do find that it moves at a brisk pace.

You're missing out if you do not interact with other Busuu users on the app

Busuu is a great app. I recommend not being afraid to interact with native speakers through your replies. Also, I prefer to speak my answers instead of writing them when I submit them to be reviewed by other people on the app. You can learn a lot.

Great start to learn new languages but…

Great start to learn new languages but needs updates for practical features. Busuu is amazing to learn Japanese. After I tried them out for just 15 minutes I was convinced that I would progress much faster by using them instead of Duolingo. To truly benefit for it, you need the premium version, but on sale for 40€ for 1 year, it was completely worth it to learn a new language. It didn't feel like I was just learning random words in my target language but instead, receiving actual lessons ...
