"My BricsCAD Review April 25, 2022"

What do you like best about BricsCAD? Two things actually: First, I can use my existing DWG-files from many years ago with no hassle. Second I can do Mechanical and BIM with the same CAD software. The interface is familiar (although I haven't worked with AutoCAD for two years now) and I can use the command line for the most frequently used functions, the Quad (I am still discovering what else I can do with the Quad) or the ribbon, depending on the situation. What do you dislike about ...

"Buy once, and with out crying."

What do you like best about BricsCAD? I like the functionality of BricsCAD. It took me almost no time to make the transition from AutoCAD. There were no problems with using my existing LSP routines. The pricing and license terms are fantastic, especially for a small business. What do you dislike about BricsCAD? There are some minor functionality differences from AutoCAD. Polylining with an island in the middle is like using AutoCAD 2009. And for tables, I wish there was a way that they ...

The best among the rest

PROS: I like that BricsCAD is quick and reliable. It doesn't crash at all, which other tools are wont to do, and in turn, causes unnecessary delay at work. Tech support is solid at BricsCAD -- they would promptly fix glitches that we encounter, and the updates they do to improve the software is regular. It's so very useful for their development and for the benefit of our work using BricsCAD. CONS: I don't have any at the moment.

BricsCAD is excellent!

PROS: So happy I found BricsCAD! I've been searching a long time for a CAD tool that is Linux- and Windows-compatible, with an interface that I am also familiar with. It definitely made me love drafting once more. CONS: Very satisfied with this product. It would be great if all features are also available on BricsCAD's version on Linux-run OS, but this is very minor.

"Bricscad is every bit as good as autocad, for most things"

What do you like best about BricsCAD? The program though similar to autocad is a lot lighter. There are commands you will find missing when you move to Bricscad, but there are others than mean basically the same thing, and I prefer Bricscad support What do you dislike about BricsCAD? I don't like how a few extension I need for using our trimble, etc, are solely programs for autocad, Bricscad could do better at trying to diversify themselves into other software similar to ACad What problems ...

BricsCAD is worth it

PROS: So worth the expense over any other tool. I'm a designer for creatives and corporates, so I find that BricsCAD is the best I've used so far. Its interface is easier to use, it's much faster, and it's less expensive. The files are smaller, so it's easier to import and work on, it doesn't require much effort to manipulate renderings, I don't have to download extra extensions, and their website tutorials are incredibly helpful. CONS: I wish there are more tech and community support, plus ...
