"Bricscad Mechanical user"

What do you like best about BricsCAD? Sheetmetal functions make it very simple to do similar things I used to do as a tradesperson. CAD 2D & 3D functions are similar or sometimes even better than previous programs used. BricsCAD pricing is the best I know of by far especially If you would only want to pay one time. Visually is easy to know what you're looking at Updates that actually bring new functions that are very usefull What do you dislike about BricsCAD? Sometimes sheet metal will ...

"Very stable software"

What do you like best about BricsCAD? Multiple CAD platforms all in one software. More capabilities with parametric blocks. What do you dislike about BricsCAD? One thing that I would like to see improvement on is interface upgrades. Pop-up windows for command prompts instead of command line prompts. Recommendations to others considering BricsCAD: Don't wait. What problems is BricsCAD solving and how is that benefiting you? Easier transition from 3D to BIM. Also the possibility to use ...

"Bricscad is superb!"

What do you like best about BricsCAD? It has all the features I used to use in AutoCAD but at a fraction of the cost. I used to be sceptical and think it wouldn't be as good, but it's every bit as good and in some respects better, even the user interface is near identical. What do you dislike about BricsCAD? It has a regular glitch for menu loading and I have to do this manually each time it stops working correctly. This is a very minor gripe though and doesn't detract from it being a great ...

"Economical and fully functional CAD software"

What do you like best about BricsCAD? Bricscad has the same tools as AutoCAD so there is no down time learning new software What do you dislike about BricsCAD? There are many dimensional variables to set in a new drawing which are complex and time consuming unless you just copy a previous drawing and delete the content so the variables are already set up Recommendations to others considering BricsCAD: If you are a previous user of AutoCAD you will find BricsCAD a breeze to use. What ...

"Complete BIM and 3D drawing experience in 1 package with a dwg extension"

What do you like best about BricsCAD? Everything on 1 program. Cost-effective through a purchase license What do you dislike about BricsCAD? The program is being developed at a rapid pace and every change is not always an improvement. Sometimes the solutions are very good and sometimes a little less. Recommendations to others considering BricsCAD: There is no reason not to switch to Bricscad if you are drawing with another program now What problems is BricsCAD solving and how is that ...

"Excellent value CAD software"

What do you like best about BricsCAD? The ability to bring in pointcloud data as e57 or las rather than converting to Recap saves lots of processing time. I mainly use for creating building elevations and floorplans from pointcloud data. It has almost all of the functionality of AutoCAD and is a fraction of the price. What do you dislike about BricsCAD? I have yet to find anything major missing from BricsCAD compared to other CAD packages. Sometimes when scrolling in and out there is a bit ...
