Great Tool and Fantastic Customer Service

What do you like best? The speed at which mentions are pulled into the system and the ability to create rules based logic then filter data based on those rules. What do you dislike? I want the ability to modify other people's dashboards. When working in a team each person has expertise and not being able to modify the same dashboard is a hinderance to the collaboration process. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? What are people ...

Great insights tool

What do you like best? My team has been working with Crimson Hexagon for a year. I have found the platform to provide very robust data queries and powerful visuals to facilitate deeper insights. What do you dislike? As a user the quality of the data is definitely impacted by the amount of time to spend writing and refining your query as well as training Opinion monitors - if you are looking for a quick fix for analytics, this is not your tool. What problems are you solving with ...

A Great Resource for Strategists

What do you like best? The systematic training to uncover the key themes around a brand, competitor or topic. It's a great way to become immersed in consumer conversations and select the most useful/insightful themes to run data against. What do you dislike? The inability to customize certain visualizations (i.e. Topic Wheel) What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? As strategists, we look for themes around the consumer experience as ...

Democracy and big data

What do you like best? we've been using this platform for almost 9 months. In that time we have user to learn information about countries in which we work and programs we are developing. It has been an amazing resource that allows us to gain snapshots over time into what people are thinking on the public Internet. What do you dislike? Because most of our work is international the one thing that is lacking is the ability to drill down into regional areas in the international ...

great for academic research

What do you like best? As researchers at the University of Texas at Austin, this tool is so helpful for analyzing big data. There is no way we could explore the social media conversation about news events, political candidates, and policy issues with such precision and comprehensiveness without access to Crimson Hexagon. I appreciate that I can hand-code for categories, effectively teaching the algorithm to perform properly. Also, the visualizations are beautiful and impressive. What ...

Brandwatch has me convinced

What do you like best? The interface is very intuitive and uses language that is understandable rather than technical jargon. It's simple to understand where everything is at a glance. The query builder is excellent, one of the best I've used for this purpose. Being able to get very granular AND maintain large scale includions / exclusions is incredibly helpful. Once you get the hang of the building process, creating new querys is almost addictive. I have also received excellent ...

Huge Advocate/Champion for Brandwatch

What do you like best? Brandwatch is an extremely robust social listening tool that, in my opinion, blows all of the other social listening tools I've used in the past out of the water. You have incredible flexibility, not only when it comes to setting up your queries, but also within the dashboards once all of your mentions have populated (which it does instantaneously). The filtering capabilities within Brandwatch are also impressive -- you really can segment and slice and dice your ...

Great Social Listening Tool

What do you like best? The UX is very intuitive and user friendly... the best part of Brandwatch is that it can deliver whatever level of analysis you like. If you are a light user and just want top level it can do this, but if you want deep analysis and are trained properly you can deliver this too. The tool is only as good as the user driving it. What do you dislike? The only thing i would like to see if PDF report building where the information is clear and not pixelated if ...

Easy-to-navigate listening experience

What do you like best? The dashboard is incredibly easy to read and customize. The charts are way nicer to view and editing queries are way easier than Radian 6. I also love that we can give view-only access to our clients. They love having that level of access and it appears to be more of a service to them than anything. What do you dislike? The only thing I dislike is initial pricing. It's price structure is waaaay better than what Radian 6 offers (more agency friendly for sure) ...

The bar has been raised for social listening tools.

What do you like best? As a strategist, the ability to "train" the tool to recognize sentiment and filter out spam makes Forsight an automatic leader in the social listening category. Another thing that Crimson Hexagon does well is present conversations in a very visually aesthetic way. I haven't had one person, whether internally or a client, not comment on the visual presentation presented by the tool. Finally, Forsight pulls its mentions from Twitter, Facebook, forums, ...
