What do you like best? It's very efficient for reconciliations. Makes everything easy to look at and a nice place to have all monthly close information and to have a place for people to access. What do you dislike? I think that it times out too quickly and can be glitchy. Sometimes I accidentally may post something in the incorrect month so maybe trying to figure out if you get a pop up if it's not under the current month. What do you like best? Blackline as able to streamline our month-end close with creating a consistent process of posting journal entries and completing tasks. What do you dislike? I wish there was a way for journal entries to automatically be loaded into reconciliations for given GL accounts as rec items. I also think that the match sets could be organized better. I think it would be a nice feature if matching could be done automatically when there is items that offset each other at least ...

We currently use Blackline for Reconciliations however through ITB we have taken away many thoughts and ideas on how we can further improve our organizations processes, specifically through matching and variance analysis. What do you like best? Most helpful thing about the blackline is how easy it is to use, all the new features help a ton. Very user friendly experience even for the not too tech-savvy people. One of the features that I especially enjoy is importing reconciliations directly from the excel files to quicken up the job. It's one of the most pleasant responsibilities that I perform in my job.
