"Killer tool, somewhat awkward interface"
What do you like best about Bitly? Somewhat the gold standard of URL shorteners. It's got great analytics... better than those in the Google URL shortener service. The price (free) is also very nice.

What do you like best about Bitly? Bitly is a great service that is very easy to use and see its benefits. More than just a link shortening service, it makes it very easy to track and analyze the effectiveness of links you may send out in social media campaigns and blitzes. I think bitly is doing a great job and heading in the right direction.

"Track your links with a custom domain"
What do you like best about Bitly? It's easy to create a bitly shortened URL without log in. With a login, you can do more. You can set up custom domain, get APIs that can be used in twitterfeed or Tweetdeck. An example link is http://a.ruben.ws/1932HY2 . This link will open my bitly review page on G2crowd.

What do you like best about Bitly? It takes longer links and makes it shorter. It works, nothing much more to say What do you dislike about Bitly?

"Above & beyond simple link shortening"
What do you like best about Bitly? Free and easy to use, and the basic analytics are great. I really like that I can rename the shortened link something a little more descriptive or intuitive than the random alpha-numeric one initially assigned. I don’t personally need the custom short domains for the links, but I could see that being a nice option for a lot of companies. I like that I can bundle links by topic.

What do you like best about Bitly? Bit.ly is still the first among URL shorteners for me because they were the first, and I still use them. I've always like their analytics, too.

What do you like best about Bitly? The value of their service became apparent once we started using Twitter and social medial in general to advertise. It's very quick and easy to register as is the conversion of links to shortened form.
