Excellent Company!

I chose BigCommerce over the other companies because of the features they offered. Many of them were exactly what I was looking for, some of them were things I hadn't even thought of. Possibly Lacking Server Redundancy

BigCommerce recently encountered a server issue where the system crashed for several days. During the downtime, Bigcommerce, via a very tedious circumlocution, concluded that it was not their fault; it was the hosting company's error. The server status is the tip of the iceberg. Incompetent

Our site has been down for for over a day. It is currently working somewhat but barely. Not once have they even sent out a notification explaining the outage and issues. I had to search to find the answer as to why there were no sales when I came into work the following morning. Besides lost revenue we have lost ad dollars as well. This is the final straw with this incompetent company.

Great Company, BUT, rates and pro services are a waste

I would NOT recommend to others.They have a very good set up, but, they keep wanting to charge for Professional services, which I accepted (at $500.00 and they only accomplished ONE thing for me and that still has bugs in it, and, they want me to spend more money to talk with another pro...Go somewhere else....

Tech Support Rocks, White Glove is lacking

We moved to Big Commerce from another platform and purchased the Platinum Package so we would get the White Glove implementation. It was terrible. They moved some files, but seemed mainly interested in having us sign off on their changes by checking a few items. It took weeks for us to get items fixed. Then, we would have weekly 45 minute consultations with their consultants, who seemed mainly interested in getting shipping and payment processing set up. The consultant who we were assigned ...

wonderful tech & conversion support made transition of site a breeze

We transitioned a site from another hoisting service - purchased the platinum plan to have them do the initial white glove setup. Unbelievable how easy they made it. Took some time for us to decide on template and then to customize it ourselves. But their support team would send us emails or call us periodically to check in and see how we were doing and if we needed help. Launched my First Fair Trade Jewelry store with Bigcommerce - GiveGiftsGiveDignity.com

Almost a year ago, I launched my Fair Trade gift store online with Bigcommerce. I customized a free Bigcommerce theme to fit my store brand and was up and running in a few days. I used the built-in coupon codes and the JustUno app to drive sales and build my social media following. The Bigcommerce Android app is also great - I use it to track and ship orders right from my phone.
