Hesitant at first, very happy as a customer
I was very hesitant about spending money for someone to do my books - especially a remote company that I wasn't able to visit in person. They took their time with a series of phone calls to make sure I knew what I was getting into and what I would receive for my money until I was comfortable enough to hire them. Bench has been a lifesaver!
Bench has been a lifesaver! I never wanted to do my own bookkeeping and finding someone to work with was taking too long. There was a lot of back and forth and it felt like more trouble than it was worth. Plus, I would have to learn accounting software. Bench solves all of it by having a simple messaging interface that connects to real people that send me reminders everytime they need me to upload anything. Plus, you can't beat the price. Great value for a small business/new business
As a new business/small business, we aren't necessarily at the point where we need a fulltime bookkeeper in house. Nor can we afford this expense. Bench is the perfect service to fulfill our need. The realtime reporting is awesome when seeking credit or loans, or to provide to investors. I think we'll keep this service even as we grow, in lieu of a fulltime bookkeeper as it's just such a value. Alexa leads our bookkeeping team and her communication is great.
