Other email/newsletter platforms don't come close

I have 5+ years of professional digital/email marketing experience and have used multiple ESPs aside from beehiiv. beehiiv is the easiest + most enjoyable to use, makes it a breeze to start creating, and has all of the reporting and audience management tools I could want. Plus, beehiiv's monetization tools (paid recommendations and built-in ad network) make it so easy to earn real $$$. Also, all of the tutorials, guides, and support (with real humans!) are top notch.

Do not recommend for established publications with paid subscriptions. OK for early creators

Sold as a stronger product than Substack, but is an immature product beneath the surface and has caused our company a lot of (ongoing) headache. Probably fine for writers just getting started, but in no way is this a replacement for Substack. Table stakes features break often, others don't function correctly, some don't even exist. Excellent email service provider with top-notch team and customer support

The best newsletter platform I've used

I've used four different newsletter or email-building platforms in my career and beehiiv takes the cake (Mailchimp doesn't even get a slice). Editor is smooth and intuitive. Built-in website/blog/archive feature is great; first time I haven't had to manually copy/paste newsletter content to a blog myself. Team is helpful and there's so much good content on their website and YouTube channels as well.

What do you like best about beehiiv? It has been really easy to use the tool to generate our newsletter for our database. What do you dislike about beehiiv? I wish it was a little easier to add one off email addresses to my list. Importing large lists is easy, but doing one or two that randomly get sent to me are tougher. "Simple and user friendly"

What do you like best about beehiiv? It is easy to understand and it is very user friendly. I use to do my newsletters on MailChimp but recently switched to beehiiv and it is not that complicated to use and navigate. What do you dislike about beehiiv? The only thing i dislike about it so far is the option to ctrl+a. Whenever I do that it just selects all and not just the block or part that I want to select. So yeah still trying to figure it out.
