Basecamp is a great way to keep team members focused and informed on projects and resources.

What do you like best? The simplicity of it. It is easy to set up teams and project working groups. It has a nice chat feature that helps builds positive team interaction - especially when working remotely. It is also a great way to give teammates kuddos for their work. It is great to be able to sort for things by deadline and you can sync deadlines to your Outlook calendar. What do you dislike? Having to build out so much for every project or task. It is also a little confusing at ...

Good Project Management Tool

What do you like best? Ease of use and unlimited licenses. Also the ability to collaborate with multiple team members. I have had several of my team members utilize individually to manage their projects and help keep them organized. The ability to communicate/email through Basecamp has allowed my team to perform at a higher caliber, and it has removed multiple roadblocks from their daily workload. What do you dislike? The inability to have sub-folders shared with only clients. We ...

Base Camp - Solving niche solution without hefty initial cost

What do you like best? Basecamp over the years have changed multiple times. I have personally used basecamp for about 8 years and this Saas have definitely changed so much and for the better. One of my favorite feature about basecamp is that the software is flexible and can integrate easily to fit any teams needs from development shop, designers, project managers, etc. What do you dislike? Basecamp includes many of the same features from other Saas such as Asana, Slack, Teams, ...

Collobrative software

What do you like best? We share story boards with our clients as well as internal teams and we have security and privacy features turned on so that the clients cannot see internal content. What do you dislike? Nothing in particular actually. They keep posting new code every other week or month with new updates. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's the best tool out there for communication with the team and sharing files What problems are you solving ...

Good for communication and high-level work. Not ideal for detailed projects with lots of tasks.

What do you like best? Basecamp keeps it simple, and that’s the purpose. One screen at a time, one thing at a time. This simplicity makes the software extremely accessible which is key to onboarding. What do you dislike? We have some complex projects. The inability to have dependencies and workflows means you have to get creative in how you manage. The simplicity is its downfall for those who need more control. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make ...

Easiest to use system for multi-org projects

What do you like best? Basecamp facilitates collaboration across multiple companies and organizations so easily. You can easily pull in clients, agency team members, partners and more. What do you dislike? You can do a lot in Basecamp, which means there's a lot of features and lingo to learn. It can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you learn it you'll never stop loving it. Recommendations to others considering the product: Consider how much you need to collaborate - ...

Easy Project Management

What do you like best? I really enjoy how Basecamp gives you tools and modules to easily manage projects with a wide variety of teams. It helps keep people accountable and allows the manager to easily check in with progress without having to track down people. What do you dislike? I dislike the rigidity of the modules, it does not always 100% adequately meet my needs to more diverse projects, but for normal use and non-special circumstances it works just fine. I managed a project ...

One of the best project management tools out there.

What do you like best? The ease of use and simplicity. Basecamp's interface is so user-friendly that it can be used by less tech-savvy users as well. Client communication is top-notch. What do you dislike? The To-Do list can be better. Task management might not be the best feature in Basecamp which may require some more work from them - as it only provides a 'to-do'. Recommendations to others considering the product: I'd say to switch to basecamp for any projects which are ...
