Basecamp pros and cons

  • Simple, user-friendly interface that is intuitive even for beginners, making it easy for teams to adopt and use efficiently.

  • Centralizes all project information, including documents, tasks, and communications, enabling seamless collaboration and organization.

  • Strong team collaboration tools, including real-time communication, task assignments, and notifications to keep everyone aligned.

  • Highly effective for remote and hybrid teams, allowing easy management of tasks and communication across distances.

Great tool for collaboration

What do you like best? Basecamp is a great tool for collaboration, especially for creative collaboration. When working virtually, and creative input is required, this is a great visual tool, in which allows any user to see the full journey and process, that went into the final creative output. What do you dislike? From a project management standpoint, I wish there was the ability to have dashboards, to see proper utilization for team members. In these dashboards, also having the ...

Basecamp remains one of the best services for planning

What do you like best? By using Basecamp you have a powerful scheduling system with which you can schedule activities for distant dates, so there is no problem in creating not only schedules, but also event plans or long-term activities that are flexible. What do you dislike? Basecamp's chat box system, called Campfire, does not seem to have enough functions for when multimedia material must be added to messages, and the limit on the size of files that we can upload to the platform ...

Good for small or medium projects, nothing really special.

What do you like best? Layout is easy to use and it's fairly intuitive for new users. This is a good tool to have for communication between 10 people or less. What do you dislike? terrible at allowing a project manager to classify and review interactions from an analysis/retro perspective. It's also a nightmare if you have more than 20 people holding conversations simultaneously regarding the project and uploading various attachments. You can't easily classify or manage ...

Awesome Collaboration Tool for Non-Profits!

What do you like best? For a fixed annual fee, you get unlimited users and unlimited projects. What do you dislike? Nothing so far but wished that it had more features such as polling. Recommendations to others considering the product: They have a 30 day trial period, discount for 1 year payment as well as a non-profit discount. If you are leading a non-profit association - give it a go. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

team management

What do you like best? It is not difficult to create and setup. All permissions are not difficult to recognize and allocate. The user interface is easy and simple to implement. The PDF preview lets you see where you are looking, not download. The software learning curve is short and the method is simple and logical. What do you dislike? The program can be much more automatic. Some functions can be rejected and implemented with much more automation. Recommendations to others ...

Online editing and sharing

What do you like best? The capacity to include items that are new, team and represent clients separately are the characteristics that I appreciate most at Basecamp. In order to make use of it, you do not have to find out several serious terms and it's super easy for the very first user to use. What do you dislike? Although each device has its own disadvantages and advantages, I see no main drawbacks for your Great Battalion, besides it can't manage tasks in the type of tickets, not ...

Simplistic, easy on the eyes, and organized messaging

What do you like best? Basecamp allows us to easily keep in touch with our digital marketing team. I find it very organized and the threads are easy to follow. The e-mail notifications are very helpful, as well. What do you dislike? I don't think there's much I dislike- although it's plain looking, it's perfectly easy on the eyes. Recommendations to others considering the product: Do yourself a favor and keep your communication as organized as possible by working with ...
