Nice product for communicating with clients and vendors
What do you like best? Choosing users to be on a conversation individually, which enables conversation before delivering an item to a vendor. What do you dislike? Would like to learn more about integrating more projects on Basecamp. Using it at base level currently. Recommendations to others considering the product Explore project management options, because it has the capability to do so. We are considering doing this because we are in need of a project management system where we ...

Good project management tool that doesn't get bogged down with too many features
What do you like best? Basecamp's simplicity is one of it's strongest features. When a tool is too complicated or has too many features, people sometimes get caught up in trying to use them all - sometimes at the risk of good project management. Basecamp doesn't have too much going on at once, so there isn't extra stuff to distract you. I also love that it has a mobile app. I think that in this day and age, if a project management tool isn't available on the go, it's not really a ...

Best platform for wrangling our team
What do you like best? Basecamp is intuitive in its user interface and provides the exact amount of OOB readiness we needed with room to expand and tweak to our particular needs. This simplicity however is also one of the drawbacks. Our team got ladened down with the amount of other applications we needed to involve in order to complete our projects. Not a one-stop shop for our type of projects but we are a niche software company in B2B sales, so we have come to expect this. What do you ...

Basecamp is great for documentation.
What do you like best? I love that it is super easy to set up, start projects, and add people to view projects. I also really like that you can set up templates so you don't have to keep entering in the same information each time. What do you dislike? I wish that it were easier to add people to specific projects because the company I work for has recently hired new people and each time I have to go into the project template and make a new discussion including the new people so that ...

Great project management that involves many team members in different functions.
What do you like best? Basecamp allows the visibility, transparency, and records of projects - which is super crucial if the projects involve multiple stakeholders from different functions. What do you dislike? - Getting people to use basecamp could be hard at first - esp. many are using different systems for different projects (which often happens for people from external organizations involving in the project. - Too many emails on the projects that are less relevant ...

Basecamp Rocks
What do you like best? Both the mobile and desktop apps are extremely simple and easy to use. What do you dislike? The client access is limited to just emails/messages. It'd be great to allow clients access to select documents upload to the docs/files section. Additionally, it'd be great to have a by day view of all to dos instead of only seeing them grouped by project. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are a very remote ...
