Basecamp Success
What do you like best? It is very easy to set up projects and share them with members. What do you dislike? There is no way to tie in hours or item dependencies. Recommendations to others considering the product It is a nice light weight communication tool. Do not rely on it for heavy project management. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are able to provide project transparency to our clients with Basecamp.

Great for visual organizers
What do you like best? Great to visually see your clients and the tasks and to-do lists. There are free versions available to try out, and the ability to visually see uploaded files are great. The good parts are you can upload a file, the other client or colleague can comment directly in the feed, you can make changes, etc. This is really comprehensive, no more email threads that get lost, etc. You can even go back and see first and second reiterations and go backward, etc. You can also ...

What do you like best? Our team thrives on the milestone setups, the easy communication strands and larger project scoping of this product. What do you dislike? The navigation between projects can sometimes be a heavy lift. Very satisfied Basecamp user
What do you like best? Simplicity, in contrast with something like Sharepoint, which we tried first. Super easy setup, solid security, clean UI. Really great value, annual licensing fees are minimal. Excellent value-for-money. What do you dislike? Not much. Haven't really found any issues with our use of Basecamp. What do you like best? Ease of use - it's incredibly easy to setup a new project and invite my clients. What do you dislike? No Gantt charts - incredibly hard to see everything from a high level. What do you like best? It allows Project Managers to be track users closely without the users feeling micromanaged. It allows for controlled client access to keep data and conversations centralized. Base camp Is great for quick projects
What do you like best? It is very easy to create projects and carry them out until completion with basecsmp. What do you dislike? You have to keep yourself organized. Sometimes it may seem easier to just through something up in the project section, but it may be better under a to-do section. A bit of a learning curve mixed with some discipline is required. Very Organized
What do you like best? I love that fact that everything stays organized versus using email to keep in touch about projects. Nothing gets lost in the communication aspect of it. When I am working on a project I automatically get notified of any changes and everything stays in order! I don't have to continuously search through email threads to find a reply. Great project collaboration software
What do you like best? Instant notification of team members when updates are posted and ease of use to share docs and info for group collaboration. What do you dislike? Can be a bit time consuming to get team members initially set up and not a solution for dynamic interaction (live info sharing. What business problems are you solving with the product?
