Basecamp pros and cons

  • Simple, user-friendly interface that is intuitive even for beginners, making it easy for teams to adopt and use efficiently.

  • Centralizes all project information, including documents, tasks, and communications, enabling seamless collaboration and organization.

  • Strong team collaboration tools, including real-time communication, task assignments, and notifications to keep everyone aligned.

  • Highly effective for remote and hybrid teams, allowing easy management of tasks and communication across distances.

Basecamp is a great way to keep everyone organzined and on track

What do you like best? I like that you can keep track of all tasks for everyone- and it's easily editable. What do you dislike? I think the layout of the program could be better. Recommendations to others considering the product Yes, I'm sure it has many features that I am unaware of. But a great tool to stay organized What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have a lot of events and projects going on at once, so it helps ...

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? What was our issue is that we didn't utilize it properly. No one would check it when it would be updated, so notes and questions would fall to the wayside. We had other systems in place already, so it ...

Basecamp 2 better than Basecamp 3

What do you like best? Basecamp is a good project management tool. Due dates, sending tasks back and forth, and closing out tasks is helpful. What do you dislike? I wish there was a way to signify when start dates for tasks are in addition to due dates. Because we put in many tasks for clients for each project, it can get overwhelming to look at your list and there are tons of tasks on there. If there was a way to add a start date and then have those tasks only show up on your list ...

Perhaps good for some applications, not great for law firm marketing by a third party

What do you like best? Honestly, I guess the best thing about it is that it allows a communication blast of a recap of what happened the last week or whatever reporting period on which it works. What do you dislike? I don't feel like it really solves a problem that dropbox and email don't solve... Recommendations to others considering the product It may be a useful tool for some, but it is definitely not a useful tool for law practice marketing interface with our marketing firm. ...
