Basecamp
What do you like best? It was a good landing page for all parties. What do you dislike? It wasn't as user friendly as I would have liked. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? sharing documents and setting time lines for events.

The good, the bad, and the in between
What do you like best? I like the "To Do" feature I think most because I am able to see at a glance what is left that needs to be done, I can assign team members tasks, set deadlines and add comments as needed for updates. It makes managing projects very straight forward. Also, sharing drafts is very convenient. What do you dislike? I have worked in a team where the Notes section was misused as if it were email. The entire team would be notified when it wasn't necessary and then no ...

Basecamp falls short of the functionality summit
What do you like best? Basecamp is extraordinarily easy to use. With its simple interface and the prevalence of drag-and-drop functionality throughout the experience, Basecamp is a pleasure to interact with. What do you dislike? I started using Basecamp about 5 years ago, and not much has changed in that time. As a simple project management tool, it's effective, but it falls short in being a legitimate PM solution for larger-scale engagements. You can upload resources, schedule events ...

Great for Scheduling and Easy to Use
What do you like best? We used Basecamp at a previous job to help with high-level interviews and it was a great launch pad for everyone on the interview panel. What do you dislike? The platform itself it pretty basic, so if you are looking for something with more options, Basecamp would not be your go-to What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We were hiring a new CEO and used Basecamp to start conversations regarding interviews and ...

Decency of Basecamp
What do you like best? I like their attempts at clarity, and their storage options. We used it to complete one of our projects as a means of testing it out, and we were okay with the way that it turned out. It was easy to use and I was able to determine what everyone was assigned to quickly, instead of asking if individuals had completed projects already. What do you dislike? I just cannot work with the interface. While it is simple enough to work, it does not include enough ...

Some like Basecamp - but it's not for everyone
What do you like best? Basecamp is a way to keep your projects organized and collaborate with others on projects. You can report your progress and see where you are as far as deadlines, etc. What do you dislike? I found Basecamp difficult to use. I didn't really like using it but used it to collaborate with a client (at the client's request. It just wasn't my favorite. Recommendations to others considering the product I'd look at other options before deciding for sure on Basecamp. ...

Basecamp valuable for bigger groups but tedious for small teams
What do you like best? The interface is easy to use and the features are definitely user friendly. The email updates are a nice touch to get a sense of what was accomplished over the course of a day. What do you dislike? I didn't like having to log into a site to communicate. I wish that I could have just sent an email and have that link onto the Basecamp thread. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We were working on putting ...

Great project management software
What do you like best? Base camp makes conversation and management easy and effective. What do you dislike? Search feature is not great I feel you need to find something from far in the past. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It leaves a paper trail so people have to do what they say. Also, the calendar makes it easy to share with others and keep on top of projects.

Basecamp User Review
What do you like best? I started using basecamp at work with no experience and was able to quickly understand the program. It doesn't require a lot of effort to use. Its good for managing projects with a team of people. You can search and find files by date and key terms with no trouble. What do you dislike? It costs and it's pretty, plain looking. If you're someone who love design aesthetics the lack of customization will be a con for you. Recommendations to others considering the ...
