Centralizes all project information, including documents, tasks, and communications, enabling seamless collaboration and organization.
Strong team collaboration tools, including real-time communication, task assignments, and notifications to keep everyone aligned.
Highly effective for remote and hybrid teams, allowing easy management of tasks and communication across distances.

Basecamp helps me stay on task
What do you like best? It is easy to use and more intuitive than Asana. It is a great place to store resources, docs and files for our team. What do you dislike? It's really hard to know when one person's job is finished and you can start your tasks. Asana did a much better job of linking projects to each person's role. Recommendations to others considering the product It's definitely worth it! What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Fantastic for keeping projects on-track
What do you like best? My favorite thing about Basecamp is the calendar feature that shows the timeline of multiple projects that are happening at once. What do you dislike? Sometimes, in an effort to create and maintain transparency, I receive reminders on uploaded or edited documents that clutter my inbox since I do not need to give my feedback on that specific project. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Basecamp helps our ...

Amazing project management tools
What do you like best? I love being able to segregate projects into items for our team, and items for our clients. There's a wall between what we work on together internally, and what we want collaboration on from our clients. This allows us to track of all details while only burdening the client with what's important to them. What do you dislike? My only complaint right now is there getting used to Basecamp 3. There wasn't a 100% clean way to import everything we wanted from Basecamp ...

A top-notch project management tool.
What do you like best? I appreciate the ease of using Basecamp. Not only do I have my own to-do lists in one, organized place, but I can also see the schedules and projects being worked on by my colleagues. This allows us all to know each other's workloads and base our projects around one-another. What do you dislike? We run out of storage constantly. The more files you attach and add to Basecamp, the more quickly you run out of available storage. This becomes an absolute pain when you ...

very convoluted, other much easier products available
What do you like best? I would receive email alerts about activity needed in Basecamp What do you dislike? It was so confusing to use especially among a large organization. There are other much easier project management and project tracking tools available. This makes it unnecessarily difficult. Recommendations to others considering the product I would recommend splurging on other tools that are specific to project management. Basecamp unfortunately made it difficult to communicate ...

Good
What do you like best? To-Do list is a great feature to help staff run through a list of action items. What do you dislike? Not as versatile as we would like in some instances. Perhaps an in-system chat would be helpful. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Staff assignments, project performance. Great for time management and tracking projects.
