Good, basic collaboration tool
What do you like best? I like that it is easy to you. It is easy to add individuals to your group. Very easy to manage multiple projects with in the platform. You can communicate via outlook and it is documented in Basecamp. You also get weekly/daily updates on your project. What do you dislike? It isn't as professional looking as Wrike, so I could see that being a turn off and if you had a lot of projects going, I think it wouldn't be as user friendly moving between projects and ...

Not Our Favorite
What do you like best? The design was nice, our creative team appreciated that. It was also able to be used with some of our large clients firewalls which was nice. File sharing was good on here. What do you dislike? It was not as organized (by project as we wanted it to be. When we left there was no task management integration with the system, which is ultimately why we decided to change to another more robust tool. Recommendations to others considering the product I have heard ...

Overall an okay program but has some down sides.
What do you like best? Easy to read task lists that can easily be assigned deadlines and to certain members. What do you dislike? I am a huge tab person when it comes to web browsing and I like to be able to easily go back and forth between different pieces of information. My biggest dislike is that I like have my task list open at all times for easy reference but when someone pings (instant messages you have to click too many times to get back to where you originally were. It's mostly ...

Initial experience with Basecamp
What do you like best? The functions that are included in Basecamp. It covers almost everything that's needed for teams to collaborate, which makes cross team interaction a lot more efficient in general. The timeline with each party's deliverable was especially helpful. What do you dislike? The interface seems a bit animated with a not-so-professional look. however, the last time I used it was around 6 months ago, so i can't confirm if the interface has been changed or updated. ...

Excellent Project Management
What do you like best? I like how everything is stored in one place. I also like how easy it is to close out to-dos, start lists, or loop in other people who need to be involved in the project. The overall best part to me about Basecamp is that we can see what we have not done yet and what we have in the future. Often times it's easy to forget which tasks you told yourself you will handl enext, but with Basecamp, I'm able to see that layed out for me. What do you dislike? I dislike ...

We used Basecamp with our vendor developing our new website.
What do you like best? It tracks everyone, documents it, notified everyone, and let;s you manage it by who is responsible to resolve it and when it is resolved. You also attach files to each issue. It was a nice communication tool. We had almost 1,000 items that we worked through with the program. What do you dislike? It did pretty much everything we needed. Recommendations to others considering the product Great tool to use for a major project with multiple people involved. What ...

Well Organized
What do you like best? It worked well for doing remote work or managing part time staff and interns. Great way to keep a running list of tasks organized by project. What do you dislike? Wish there was more room for notes in the Calendar section. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Helped with remote work and team management.

Useful but could have more features
What do you like best? It's great to keep team projects all in one place. Everything displays on a timeline, and you can divvy up teams granting access to specific projects. What do you dislike? I don't so much care for the way images/design work is shared. You can't make notations or comments directly on designed materials. Wrike has the function to do that and it's great, but now we find our team using 2 different programs instead of just one. Recommendations to others considering ...
