Basecamp pros and cons

  • Simple, user-friendly interface that is intuitive even for beginners, making it easy for teams to adopt and use efficiently.

  • Centralizes all project information, including documents, tasks, and communications, enabling seamless collaboration and organization.

  • Strong team collaboration tools, including real-time communication, task assignments, and notifications to keep everyone aligned.

  • Highly effective for remote and hybrid teams, allowing easy management of tasks and communication across distances.

Basecamp - moderate user

What do you like best? I really love the checklist format of Basecamp to-dos - I'm an avid list-maker so not only being able to track my own to-dos but be able to track my colleagues as well makes projects SO much easier. What do you dislike? The layout of the site can be challenging to navigate. I don't use it as often as others teams at my company, so it may just be a user issue, but I find that it's not super intuitive. It's easy once you get to the project you're looking for, but ...

Good Product for Team Communication

What do you like best? The format is user-friendly and laid out in such a way where information is easy to find. I like how things are organized and my member can get their information immediately and know where to look for updates. What do you dislike? It's a bit pricey. We're a smaller group and sometimes it's hard to justify the price of this. I feel that if you have a small enough team, you should be able to pay half the price of the $20 cost. Recommendations to others considering ...

Project Management of choice for Web Development

What do you like best? We used Basecamp as a primary Project Management and ticket system with our outstanding web dev team. It allowed us to communicate with multiple members of the team with ease, and was very simple to get up and running. What do you dislike? Easy to use, great for client-agency communication

What do you like best? It is a platform that allows to handle many discussions at the same time and the file upload is really easy, even when they are heavy as Power Points with many images.
