Basecamp pros and cons

  • Simple, user-friendly interface that is intuitive even for beginners, making it easy for teams to adopt and use efficiently.

  • Centralizes all project information, including documents, tasks, and communications, enabling seamless collaboration and organization.

  • Strong team collaboration tools, including real-time communication, task assignments, and notifications to keep everyone aligned.

  • Highly effective for remote and hybrid teams, allowing easy management of tasks and communication across distances.

Great project management app

What do you like best? Ease of use, short learning curve, effective collaboration among team members. What do you dislike? Basecamp used to be the only few project management software on the market. Since then, there are many competitors offering their software at a lower cost. It's time for Basecamp to revisit their pricing structure. Recommendations to others considering the product Try out other project management software to see which one works the best for your team. What ...

Registration simple and easy.

What do you like best? The simple registration is the strong point of Basecamp, with a few simple steps such as filling in our name and surname, the company we work with, and our job, we will be fully enjoying the functions that Basecamp has. What do you dislike? The problem with Basecamp is that many times when saving projects, they are lost in the course of saving, and likewise you lose all the information that was written or elaborated, I would like you to fix this in order to enjoy ...

Very comprehensive project management software

What do you like best? I love how easy it is to track due dates and each step taken in a project's lifespan. What do you dislike? Basecamp is frustrating only when the people you're collaborating with are unorganized. If you work with a thorough and organized team Basecamp is a great tool. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Tracking deadlines and files for projects is pretty simple.

Off the shelf project management software for nimble teams

What do you like best? The interface, scheduling, and notifications. It's easy to navigate and you are able to find upcoming and past due task items. The search feature also makes it helpful to look for a specific file or comment but can't remember which project it's located in. What do you dislike? Version control can be difficult to follow, upgrading to new version of Basecamp was much more complex than it should have been. Working in Basecamp2, often our projects would be ...

Basecamp seems to be aggregate processes in a fairly concise way.

What do you like best? The feature I like best is being able to delegate tasks to team members and have them checked off. This allows things to keep moving without micromanaging. What do you dislike? I would like basecamp to integrate more with my browser so that I can add a to-do list to my browser and interact with it without having to have the whole utility open. Recommendations to others considering the product Give it a shot, it may well be exactly what you need! What ...

Basecamp Project

What do you like best? I like that you can see all the to dos and check things off as you go. It makes it easier to keep things going. What do you dislike? The fact that all it really is for me is a to do list. I don’t like how it’s so separated from all other platforms especially since Microsoft has Microsoft teams now which is the same concept so everything is fairly similar. Recommendations to others considering the product Realize that it doesn’t have the ease of use like ...

Recommendations to others considering the product I use Teamwork and Google Drive to organize my projects now if needed. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Trying to organize web design and development projects. I didn't realize benefits as I left the ...

Easy to use

What do you like best? I like most its simplicity. And besides this Basecamp is working so nice. Design is good, customer support is helpful and overall user interface is so friendly. What do you dislike? I don't like calendar of Basecamp. It's kinda not enough for seeing and organizing. And if there mobile application for Ios and Android, it would be really great one.
