The Perfect Papertrail

What do you like best? The ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external teams, without having to host attachments, access various drives, etc. What do you dislike? Not every easy to set up a new project - if you have a new project and a large team, there is a bit of legwork required on the front end. Recommendations to others considering the product Make it easier to create new projects, assign users to the projections, etc. What business problems are you solving ...

Basecamp is a great program for organizing large-scale projects within your team and with clients.

What do you like best? Basecamp is user-friendly and the overall usability is fantastic. Projects can be organized into groups and notifications can be controlled to the relevant parties, while anyone can access them if they need to. What do you dislike? Sometimes Basecamp can be overwhelmed with too much messaging, calling for the need of another platform for general discussion/chatting about projects. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Basecamp user

What do you like best? Sharing photos of important projects with coworkers I don't see every day. It's nice to easily access photos that I can refer to for new clients. What do you dislike? I wish it was easier to share a project with customers. Sometimes the photos upload sideways- not a huge deal. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure everyone tags people when adding projects, or they won't be able to view them. What business problems are you solving with ...

Class Organization

What do you like best? I like the timeline inspired log of activity best, it's easy to see if you've missed something. What do you dislike? I like the timeline, but it can get confusing to see all the content on one stream, when you're just looking for, say, your assignment submission. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Group collaboration / documentation. It's made team collaborating easier, since all reference materials are in ...

Not horrible but not great

What do you like best? Visually this was not confusing. Data was there and it linked with gmail which made logging easy. What do you dislike? Customization was limited at the time of use. There were things we needed at the time that we weren't able to have. Recommendations to others considering the product If you don't have a numerous amount of information to measure, this will be great. For those who aren't computer literate- this is a great tool. What business problems are you ...

Good introductory Project Management Tool

What do you like best? Our non-profit previously did not use any project management tool, and Basecamp has greatly improved our ability to formalize our workflows. Its interface is easy to use and learn, and I highly recommend it to any smaller organizations just getting started with project management systems. What do you dislike? The level of nuance and granular control is not advanced enough. After using the tool for less than a year we have already run into several issues like ...
