What do you like best about AWS Glue? Schedule ETL operations is very cool, I think it could be a great thing. What do you dislike about AWS Glue? UI needs work. Very slow, HOWEVER, my first experience with this was at re:invent, so resources were probably stretched thin. I did talk to another person in the training with me who said it does tend to be slow, but he just schedules jobs to run over night and it works great for him. You still have to edit the code manually when there is something more complex stuff going on with the data. What problems is AWS Glue solving and how is that benefiting you? ETL stuff can be done by data scientist instead of outsourcing everything to long projects.

No GUI for Scala (not a big deal but a noticied absence), slow to spin up clusters, limited number of simultaneous DPUs across an account What problems is AWS Glue solving and how is that benefiting you? Extract data from SQL databases in RDS and in EC2 into S3 for customer access.
