What do you like best about Avalara? We use Avalara to monitor and manage our sales tax obligations in the USA resulting from our remote seller status. Avalara offers a robust automation solution with full integration into our proprietary billing system. We like the scope of automation and geographical coverage. Avalara also provide vast know-how resources and regular updates on global VAT topics.

"Very Expensive, and bad support even though you pay extra for support (Updated)"
What do you like best about Avalara? This is the only company that could solve my tax collection issues. The only company that has a tax app that Restrict Content Pro uses. This company may be great for larger companies, but not for small companies. And the connector for Restrict Content Pro does not work properly with Avalara even after six months. I cannot take orders overseas, and the tax calculation is wrong. Avalara says it is the connector that is the problem, not them.

"Update: Our CSM connected with us directly and helped to escalate our issue"
What do you like best about Avalara? It works well with e-commerce platforms like Magento. Does okay with WooCommerce. Our CSM has been willing to resolve issues with us directly and has been a transparent communicator. I did not know that our CSM managed 800+ customers. Knowing that now, I can appreciate the Avalara CSM being available to escalate issues at a higher level.

What do you like best about Avalara? It's quite good at calculating the correct tax rates and submitting required returns. It has good integration with WooCommerce for e-commerce sales tax calculations.

What do you like best about Avalara? The new features to come in ECM. The ability for all our our tax services to be on the same interface. The exemption matrix. I haven't used any other tax services.
