The Jury is still out
What do you like best? Real time collaboration between teams can eliminate a lot of time updating models What do you dislike? Communication is key. Architects can't arbitrarily move rooms or delete things. I've had architects delete ceilings with mechanical equipment on them and move entire sprinkler rooms across the building. It makes it hard to hold people accountable. Recommendations to others considering the product The Jury is still out. What business problems are you solving with ...

Looking for better speed from tools & browser support
What do you like best? New tools added frequently. Easy of setting up. What do you dislike? Feel like tools are not fully thought through as added. We had lots of issues coordinating materials, shared parameter files, and using many plugins because the way the model is hosted. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Working in the same model with our outsourcing company without a lot of setup.

BIM 360
What do you like best? BIM 360 has been good for smaller firms that do not want to have an actual server onsite. Collaborating on Revit projects works have worked better in this situation instead of working off the C-drive (local. When we were doing that, Revit models would often crash and corrupt the model. Therefore, we were able to avoid this by using BIM 360. So, basically I'm saying it's great for team collaboration. What do you dislike? We had signed up for it but didn't get any ...

Lots of info in one place
What do you like best? I like the fact you can easily share information with the project team including the model. What do you dislike? The upload time of models takes a very long time. Can not run navisworks synced model thru the desktop connector app limiting our potential use of the application (navis model now lives on ShareFile. Recommendations to others considering the product we sync our live Navisworks models on all projects on ShareFile or Box or Dropbox, when I tried on the ...

My BIM 360 review
What do you like best? I like that the user doesn't have to connect to VPN and worry about bandwidth connections to the office server. What do you dislike? Loading a model can be slow at times.
