Makes Design Simpler Between Offices

What do you like best? Multi member design within a collaborative project is a breeze. Runs far better than a traditional server based project. There's no need to transfer files between consultants, eliminating a time consuming step. What do you dislike? The system is sometimes unavailable, halting design in it's tracks. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use it with projects that span across both offices (West coast and east ...

BIM and emerging inerconnectivity

What do you like best? One-stop for storage, viewing, sharing and reviewing project files. What do you dislike? NONE of the mobile applications support any Windows devices. We use MS Surface in the field and can not use all of the features in Checklists or RFIs because they are not supported. Wake UP! IPads are a fad and nothing more than a social media tool. They are not serious business tools. But they get a lot of people to drink the Kool-Aid. We have had to make the choice between ...

Coordination Extraordinaire

What do you like best? My favorite thing about BIM360 is the easy interface and the ability to coordinate with everyone so seemlesly. We can have the detailers coordinating with other trades and multiple users all at once. We can also include the project managers and field guys so they can see what is happening and what is changing through the project without missing a beat. What do you dislike? The only issue I have currently is the navigation on the ANDROID app. This is difficult to ...

Autodesk is a must-have for project coordination

What do you like best? Best part about Autodesk BIM 360 is the organization of all the information that is saved and accessible to all project team members. It is very helpful to be able to find information and documents easily. As well as receiving notifications that new files have been uploaded to view. What do you dislike? I dislike the process of adding members and assigning permissions to individuals. It gets frustrating having to continue to make suggestions to the person who set up ...

Glue Honest Review

What do you like best? I like that I can use the program on my iPad Pro tablet. I like how fast I can open a drawing on my PC. Even though I have a FAST computer at work Navisworks takes some time to open an .nwf from the server. I can open a model from glue in less than 30 seconds. This is by and large the best thing about Glue. What do you dislike? you ask...here goes... 1. I cannot sort the models in the selection tree specifically if I am using Glue. This is so annoying I sometimes ...

High potential, but has some functionality flaws

What do you like best? Ability to access & navigate live/real-time federated models via the internet. Ability to plugin direct w/ softwares like Navisworks, etc. What do you dislike? Clash detection feature is fairly watered-down compared to Navisworks. Lack of ability to share viewpoints from Navisworks to BIM 360 Recommendations to others considering the product Offer more user support. There seem to be multiple, re-occuring issues identified on Autodesk user forums that remain ...

Workflow Perfected

What do you like best? I like how Bim 360 can be updated and viewed by multiple users. What do you dislike? I don't like how difficult it is to change the walking speed while viewing a model in 3d. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Coordination issues through out all construction fields are being resolved with Bim360.

BIM 360 improves coordination

What do you like best? That BIM 360 Provides "single source of truth" project data space that is easily accessed via the internet. What do you dislike? Limited Redline/Comment tools. Challenge of managing multiple AutoCAD drawings with shared xrefs. Merging models to coordinate them in model coordination module. AutoCAD models not playing nice with Revit models. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Better coordination of documentation ...
